Writing Process
Posts on this site are created with varying levels of AI assistance.
How I Use AI Tools
My approach depends on the content type.
For research-based posts and explorations of new technical topics, I may use AI substantially. That could mean using multiple systems (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity) in combination. On the more heavy use side, AI may generate initial drafts based on my direction, I iterate by asking it to rephrase sections, restructure content or research more sources. The final text would usually look completely different from the original draft.
For some technical posts, AI involvement may be minimal, limited to generating metadata, summaries or feature images.
My Role
Regardless of AI involvement, I direct what gets created, verify all technical claims and code examples, and review every word before it’s published. I take full responsibility for accuracy and quality.
Why This Approach
AI tools may help me explore and develop concepts more efficiently. They’re productivity tools, similar to how I use IDEs or technical references in development work. I also hope that this improves my writing (but I am still learning how to best use it).
The goal is creating useful, accurate content. The technical judgement and final decisions are mine.
